• Wonderful book!
Very clever book for children! It uses photographs of real dogs to illustrate contrasts (big dog/little dog, etc). There are moving parts on each pg that seem sturdy enough to handle lots of use. My 10 month old niece already knows which dogs move, have fuzzy ears to touch or a soft belly to pet. Really a beautiful book and makes a great gift for children through K age.

This book is a must have for anyone with children and grandchildren. What a lovely way to portray man's best friend and the tactile interaction is superb!
• His favorite book
This is my son's favorite book. I actually bought this for him before he was born as we have three dogs and the book was appealing to me. He is now 14 months old and he pulls this from his book collection and brings it over to me, says "Da-doo!", sits in my lap and starts turning the pages himself. His favorites parts to touch are the English Sheepdog and the Basset with the sticky tongue.

This also stands the durability test! We had him walking around naked the other day to air out a diaper rash and he accidentally peed on this book! I was upset as I thought it got ruined. There is not one single mark or stain on this book even after I wiped it down with antibactieral wipes!

I can't wait for the CAT book to come out!
• Great book for all dog lovers
My son got this book for Christmas last year and loves it! The different dogs in the book are great, and he even can identify the different neighborhood dogs in the book. He loves to make the dogs move and explain each picture to us. One downfall is that he has ripped the leg off one dog, and we've had to glue it on several times. So watch those little hands!
