I always wanted a colorful MacBook -- and now I have one :)
One of my gripes about apple is their tendency to monochrome, they seem to live in a black and white world over there! Thank god for Speck, now my MacBook is shiny red (kinda reminds me of my old orange iMac) and its got extra protection to boot. Really helps when I'm wedging my three laptops into my carry on bag, now my beautiful MacBook doesn't get scuffed up anymore, it stays nice and clean and it looks sharp! This is a very well designed product, its got air vents and rubber feet. I was a little concerned that I might have heat problems with this cover on there, but so far it actually seems to run nice and cool.

<br />Only real downside is that it makes the MacBook just a teensy bit more bulky, but you can't have extra protection without a little cost.

Protects and light weight, too
The hard case is easy to install, provides a small space between it and your laptop so that any bumps do not directly transfer onto your computer. Additionally, because the case is transparent, you can put photos or decals within this space without the use of any adhesives. Its practically weightless and allows full movement of your monitor (unless you want to bend it backwards beyond the MacBook's suggested angle, but that too is a good thing). Lastly, it looks cool. I don't know why, but these covers are great eye candy. It gives your computer this jovial flare, like that of a new toy.

Perfect Fit
This is the second Case I have purchased from Speck and it is everything they have claimed it would be. An absolute necessity for the owner of a MacBook Pro.
