The DS6121-3 runs on the DECT 6.0 frequency band for superior sound quality and range. DECT 6.0 is not compromised by common home appliances; wireless networks will not disrupt or be disrupted by it; and hackers cannot eavesdrop on it as easily as older frequency bandwidths.
The DS6121-3 includes three handsets (along with a base and two charging cradles) that let you use all handsets through a single phone jack. You can intercom between handsets and calls can be transferred between them -- no more shouting, "It's for you!" You can also conference an outside call between them. Speakerphones are built into each handset, allowing you to enjoy hands-free conversations wherever you roam. The large blue backlit display makes menu navigation simple. A 50-name-and-number phonebook directory stores and dials frequently called numbers, and the phone is caller ID/call waiting compatible. The Vtech DS6121-3 has a built-in digital answering system with 15 minutes of recording time. With an all-digital design, there are no tapes to mess with and you can easily jump from one message to another without any wait. With remote message retrieval, you can call in from anywhere to get your messages. A backlit message counter clearly shows you how many messages you've received.
