Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A Veggie Tales Movie (Widescreen)
Price: $19.98 USD
A boatload of beloved VeggieTales pals embarks on a fun and fresh pirate adventure with their trademark humor and silly songs in The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything – A VeggieTales Movie!

Larry the Cucumber, Mr. Lunt and Pa Grape find themselves on the ride of their lives when they are mysteriously whisked back to the time when pirates ruled the high seas. As they help a brave princess rescue her brother from a dastardly pirate villain, they battle evil Cheese Curls, giant rock monsters and their own fears and become the most unlikely heroes you’ve ever seen. It’s a swashbuckling good time for the whole family!

Being a hero is a lot to live up to and for Elliot (Larry the Cucumber), Sedgewick (Mr. Lunt), and George (Pa Grape), working as cabin boys in the local dinner theater's pirate show looks like it may be as close to heroic as any of them ever get. Back in the 17th century, heir to the throne Prince Alexander has been captured by his evil uncle Robert and his sister Princess Eloise is determined to rescue him. A magical ball bequeathed by Eloise's father magically transports Elliot, Sedgewick, and George back in time via rowboat in answer to the Princess's request for heroes, but their timidity, laziness, and lack of self confidence looks like it will prevent the trio from fulfilling their heroic mission. As the three friends struggle with their own shortcomings, they eventually discover that being heroic may be as simple as just doing what is right. Still, can they possibly live up to the expectations of the Princess and fulfill their apparent heroic destiny? This is a captivating pirate movie full of adventure, cute characters, funny moments, and catchy music that imparts a wholesome message without being either preachy or overtly religious. Best of all, this swashbuckling film won't scare even the most sensitive young viewer. (Ages 2 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

VeggieTales - Are You My Neighbor? [VHS]
Price: $12.98 USD
Those lovable, googly-eyed vegetables are back with another 30-minute animated episode of fun-spirited morality. In The Story of Flibber-o-loo, Jr. Asparagus rises above his town's hatred of Flibbians to rescue a cucumber who's in a real pickle. The little guy's choice to love his neighbor ends a long history of trouble between the two towns. The Gourds Must Be Crazy teaches a second lesson about appreciating differences among each other. When the crew of the Starship Applepies faces impending doom, Jr. Asparagus is the only one willing to ask the newest crew members (a couple of ravenous, singing gourds) for help. As always, co-hosts Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato smartly recap and apply the lesson to everyday life, complete with a quick Bible reference. If your family enjoys the wit and imagination found in Muppet movies or Sesame Street episodes, you'll find this musical group of Christian-lite vegetables inspiring and entertaining. --Liane Thomas
